When Did you first start taking fitness training seriously?
Late 2013 when I decided I would compete in my first show in April 2014.
Your biggest lesson so far?
People will judge you no matter what.
(This one is a bit tricky) … so I’ve opted for – “what’s something you’ve had to overcome?”
Public speaking .. it used to petrify me & still does, so that would have to be at the top of my list! Over time I’ve gotten a lot better! Practice makes perfect 🙂
What drives you to stay focussed and motivated?
Self-reflection I think has been the biggest thing that keeps me focussed and motivated especially as of late!
How do you prepare for each week?
Each week I look at my schedule & figure out when to train, eat, work & socialise. I make time for family & events & make sure I have my food ready each morning. I like to bulk prep my meals and portion them out as needed. I try to stick to a set plan in my diary In terms of work, eating and training 🙂
Do you have cheat days? Ultimate cheat meal?
I doooo love pizza and donuts but I get referred days during prep!
One piece of advice you would give to someone starting out?
Be mentally prepared & have a reputable, knowledgeable and trustworthy coach!
